The line pump runs 200 feet of three-inch line from the truck to the pour, which means concrete reaches backyard slabs, basement foundations, retaining wall footers, and any site where the ready-mix truck can’t back up to the form. Spencer’s owns the pump outright, so scheduling doesn’t depend on third-party rental availability.

The pump service is available to homeowners pouring their own slabs and to other concrete contractors who need pump capacity for a single job. The same published rate applies either way. Sourcing concrete from a local ready-mix supplier is the customer’s responsibility; Spencer’s coordinates the pour timing.

Standard service includes 200 feet of three-inch line laid from the pump truck to the discharge point. Additional line is available on request for unusual sites. Most residential jobs in Northern Kentucky are reached comfortably within the standard 200-foot configuration.
The customer or general contractor orders concrete directly from a local ready-mix supplier (typically Hilltop, Irving Materials, or Cincinnati Sub-Zero depending on the jobsite). Spencer’s coordinates the timing of the pour with the supplier’s delivery truck so the pump is ready when the concrete arrives.
The first 35 miles from Dry Ridge are included. Jobs outside that radius are quoted with a travel adjustment based on round-trip mileage. Most of Grant, Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties fall within the included radius.
Spencer’s typically schedules pumping work 5 to 10 business days out during the active pour season (spring through fall). Last-minute calls can sometimes be accommodated if the schedule has a gap. Saturday pours fill up faster than weekday slots, so contractors booking weekend work should call as early as possible.
Yes, there is a minimum charge that covers pump setup, base travel, and operator time. Every job is quoted from a phone call or site visit. For very small pours, Spencer’s will discuss whether a pump is the most economical option before booking.
